The owner of the company, Alojz Ryšavý, begins to design and manufacture his own first jewelry and sells it wholesale. At the age of nineteen he, a professional jeweler, founds the Ryalo Gold company.

1996

Ryalo Gold grows step by step and has twenty employees. The company begins to focus on exclusive diamond jewelry, which becomes the primary market of ALO diamonds.

1997

1997

Ryalo Gold seeks total independence in the production of jewelry to achieve complete control of product quality. The company gradually acquires new high technology equipment, comparable with that used by the world’s leading jewelers. As a result, jewelry production increased, and above all, quality went up.

1998

Under the aegis of Ryalo Gold a new design team is formed. Its mission is to design jewelry in the spirit of the most current trends. The company starts to set a tone not only for the quality of its jewelry but also in terms of style.

1999

1999

Ryalo Gold becomes one of the first Czech and Slovak jewelry firms to purchase diamonds on the prestigious Antwerp Exchange, the world center for diamond trade. It thereby gains the opportunity to purchase precious stones directly, without middlemen, allowing to offer them to customers at fair prices.

Ryalo Gold continues to grow. It increases its production facilities and number of employees. It succeeds over the competition with its top professionalism, interest in new trends and focus on the top quality of its jewelry.

2001

2001

ALO diamonds company is established. A small business ownership has become one of the leading companies engaged in the production of jewelry. Alojz Ryšavý remains its majority owner.

2002

2002

The hundred year storm affects the company profoundly. The Holešovice production facility in Prague is flooded and causes a temporary decrease in production. As a result, ALO diamonds reconstructs and modernizes the entire complex of its company buildings.

2003

ALO diamonds manufacturing facilities are more spacious and have a modern design after the reconstruction. The number of employees grows to fifty.

2005

ALO diamonds begins to establish its niche in Europe. The company is the only Czech firm to receive an invitation to the prestigious watch and jewelry fair in Basel, Switzerland. Here, its jewelry is presented alongside world renowned names such as Cartier, Chopard and Breitling.

2006

ALO diamonds confirms its exceptional standing on the Czech market. Each year the company has a larger and more closely watched presentation at the Prague Watches and Jewelry Exposition. ALO diamonds is setting the latest trends in jewelry manufacturing in the Czech Republic and has cemented its place in the luxury market

2007

ALO diamonds moves its operations to a new facility at Na Maninách Street and takes another step toward creating a true jewelry empire.

2008

2008

The global supermodel Petra Nemcova becomes the face of ALO diamonds. She also contributes to the design of the jewelry with her own creative ideas.

ALO diamonds becomes the General Partner for the Miss Czech Republic 2008 and the Miss Universe Slovakia 2008 competitions and kicks off the largest advertising campaign in the history of the brand. Alojz Ryšavý designs crowns for the winners of the Miss Czech Republic and Miss Universe Slovakia competitions.

With more than 100 employees, ALO diamonds continues to establish itself even more prominently on the European scene. It produces its jewelry in the largest jewelry facility in Central Europe which is equipped with the most modern technologies. It becomes the main partner of the prestigious PGA European Tour.

At the end of June, the greatest masters of world ballet meet on the stage of the State Opera in Prague to perform in the ALO diamonds Étoiles series. Four soloists and an extensive ensemble bring to life Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. “Ballet for us is a synonym of beauty and nobility. For this reason we have lent our name to this unique event, which has no equal in the Czech Republic,” stated Alojz Ryšavý.

Retail sales have grown dynamically. ALO diamonds is opening its 5th design boutique.

The company is expanding internationally and opening a new branch office in Hong Kong.
